I remember the first time I met Grandpa John. As soon as we met, he loaded us up into the van and we headed to get some lunch. I still remember sitting there laughing at his jokes and stories for quite awhile. I only had the opportunity of being around him twice in the short time I knew him, but I have so many good memories of him, and lots of pictures of him loving on my babies. He was such a kind, loving man and he will be missed so much! Much love to Grandma, and all the other family today and in the coming days. My heart is hurting with you, and I send my hugs and love to you all!

Poppy, there are no words...you will be missed beyond comparison! You were like a Dad to me for almost 27 years and made an indelible impression upon me. Grumpy and fun loving, you were and will always be my Poppy. I will carry this love for you to the day I leave this great world, and for the rest of eternity. Much love and eternal peace, until we meet again! I love you, Poppy!
