Celebrating the Life of John Richard Hudanich
June 19th, 1937 - March 18th, 2026
“Fish on”
We celebrate the beautiful life of John Richard Hudanich, fondly called Richard. He was born on June 19th, 1937, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and left us unexpectedly on March 18th, 2026, at Trinity Hospital in Trinity, Florida.
Richard found pure joy by the beach and on the water. Days spent fishing and hunting were his favorites, and his cheerful motto, “Fish on,” summed up his outlook.
Friends and family admired his hardworking, honest, loyal, intelligent, and resilient nature. A strong, determined gentleman who never complained, Richard met every challenge with steady confidence.
He shared life with his loving spouse Linda. He is survived by his sister Judy; sons Michael, Keith, and Jeffrey; stepchildren, Leslie and Craig; granddaughters-in-law Allyssa and Kerris; grandchildren Daniel, Richard, Krystal, Ava Rose; and great grandchildren, Grace, and Charlie. Richard was preceded in death by his brother Michael.
Richard’s memory will shine brightest each time a line is cast or a shoreline is explored. As we say “Fish on,” we celebrate the adventures he loved and the steady spirit he shared with us all.
