Joe Kaylor's Obituary
The family of Joe Kaylor is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. That's Joe, not Joseph, and Kaylor with a K, not a T. Joe was born in September 1964 to Billy Jack and Mary Ruth, and he left us on September 23, 2023. Always one to get into things, Joe became very adept with his hands and grew up to be a skilled mechanic; he became known to many as Joe the Mechanic. Joe enjoyed hobby projects such as restoring boats and classic cars. His family and friends declared him the unofficial mayor of Hudson because he seemed to know everyone, and they knew him. Joe married his soulmate Tammy Kaylor in 2012; they were the light of each other's life. Alongside his wife, Joe is survived by sons Joe Kaylor Jr. (Heather Kaylor), William "Charlie" Kaylor (Samantha Kaylor), Gary Guasto (Kristy Guasto), daughter Nicole Braden (Michael Mayberry), 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and countless friends. The world will surely be dimmer and far quieter without him. He will be missed.
A viewing will be held from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Grace Memorial Gardens, 16931 US Highway 19 North, Hudson, FL 34667. A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 14, 2023, beginning at 3:00pm at 13711 Veronica Dr. Hudson, Fl 34667.
