Jo Ann McLaughlin's Obituary
McLAUGHLIN, Jo Ann 84, of Spring Hill, passed away November 28, 2020.
Jo Ann was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio and raised in McKeesport, Pennsylvania where she met the love of her life, Frank, as teenagers. Jo Ann graduated from McKeesport High School in 1954. She was a loving wife and mother who traveled extensively through Europe and Japan with Frank’s military career.
Jo Ann was a devout Catholic. Jo Ann and her daughter, Loretta Ann, made a pilgrimage to Medugorje and after she and Frank retired to Florida, Jo Ann attended St. Thomas University where she obtained certification in Spiritual Companionship in 1996.
Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband, Frank McLaughlin; children Loretta Ann McLaughlin, Joni Marie Lashley, Frances Lynn Lewis, and Daniel Francis McLaughlin; and grandchildren Amber Rose McVea and Abigail Grace McLaughlin.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 6 pm on Wednesday, December 2nd at Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Hudson, FL with a prayer service beginning at 5 pm.
