Edie Sanders
I first met Jewell in the First United Methodist Church on US 19 in Hudson. During our meet and greet she was sitting behind me and when I turned around she opened her arms and gave me a big hug. I had recently lost my son to melanoma and the comfort of her hug was heart warming. Also, one Sunday my daughter was playing her trumpet in the church group so I ended up sitting on the other side so I could watch her play but during our meet and greet I hurried over to the other side only to find Jewel with her arms anxiously wide open to give me a big hug. Unfortunately that was the last hug I will be able to look forward to until I go home and greet her with a big hug. Rest in Peace Jewel and I would like to send my condolences to the family.
