Jennie E. Ayotte (Smith) Port Richey, Florida — Age 74
Jennie E. Ayotte (Smith), 74, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Ayotte; her sons, Jahn and Todd Ayotte, and daughters-in-law, Courtney and Amelie; her grandchildren, Julien, Jaxson, and Noelle; her siblings Rose LaRoache, William, Herbert, and Howard Smith, and June Erno; along with many nieces and nephews.
Jennie was known for her kind heart, compassion, and competitive spirit. An expert quilt maker, she created baby quilts for countless families. She was also a talented cook, famous for her chocolate chip cookies and always eager to try new, challenging recipes in the kitchen. Jennie loved card games and never missed an opportunity to “kick everyone’s butt” with a smile.
Together with her husband Tom, Jennie set an example of a loving and lasting marriage, touching all who knew them. Her warmth, generosity, and playful spirit will be remembered by family and friends forever.
