Jason Kane Nelson's Obituary
Jason Kane Nelson, 48, of Brooksville, passed away on October 11,2022. He spent most of his childhood in Georgia, with several years spent in California and Japan. He moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1997. He spent most of his free time at baseball fields with his son, whether it was coaching, practicing, hanging out, or watching his son play in a game. This was one of his biggest joys in life. He was an amazing cook, could fix just about anything, enjoyed working out, and loved fishing with his son and his brother. Jason and his wife, Sarah, had been together for almost 25 years. He loved his family and friends and was extremely proud of both his children. He could not wait to see what the future held for them. He will be missed and was loved very much.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, James Phillip Nelson and sister-in-law Kelly Nelson. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sarah; son Collin, daughter Taylor, mother Carol Scott and her husband George, brother Phillip "Tony" Nelson, mother-in-law Sherry Swords and her husband Ken, father-in-law Mark Fear and his wife Lois, along with sister-in-law, Rachel, and brother-in-law, Andrew.
A Celebration of Life is currently being planned and will be announced soon.
