James T Fuller's Obituary
Born April 12, 1939 in Chicago, II. James died on November 10, 2023, in Spring Hill, FL., after a yearlong battle with cancer.
James was a graduate of Reading High School in Reading, Michigan and Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He lived in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, Vermont, and Florida over the course of his life. He was employed by Mobil Oil, Display Corporation International, Maritz Inc. and later opened his own company Performance Management Associates where he and wife Christine were partners as well as The Gillie, a fly-fishing booking agent specializing in Ireland.
Together Jim and his wife of 50 years, Christine designed and ran incentive Programs for many of the Fortune 500 companies and traveled all over the world and to every state in the US. In addition, they provided marketing and sales assistance to high end resorts in Lana'i, Hawaii, Santa Barbara, CA, Big Bend, Or., Eagle, CO and the island of Anguilla.
His hobbies were fly fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, golf, shooting and photography.
He believed in giving back and was involved with various charities including being President of Theodore Gordon Flyfishers, President of Black River Good Neighbors food shelf and thrift store, BOD of Therapy Dogs of Vermont and St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Mary Our Lady of Sorrows, where he did case work. He also was an elected member of the Ludlow, VT Village Trustees.
Along with Christine and their St. Bernard, Annie, they did therapy dog work in Nursing Homes, schools, hospitals, prisons and libraries. This work brought great joy to many people.
Jim is survived by his wife Christine, his children James Jr (Dr. Deborah) of Bainbridge Island, WA, Elizabeth Warner (Wayne Stanley) of Enosburg, VT, Margaret Leyer (Jim) of Mitwaukee, WI, Catherine Graves (Robb) of Acadia, MO. and Patrick of Chicago, IL.
Jim was predeceased by his son John. He has seven grandchildren and two great grandsons.
Jim loved his wife, family, friends, country and his church. He will be missed by many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am December 4, 2023 at St. Mary Our Lady of Sorrows, 18810 US 41, Masaryktown, Florida  346604.
