Cvetan, James Anthony's Obituary
James (Jim) Anthony Cvetan Sr. 84, of Spring Hill FL, peacefully passed away Wednesday May 7th 2025. He was born January 5th, 1941, in McKeesport, PA. The son of the late Jacob and Margaret (McQueen) Cvetan.
He was preceded in death by his adored wife Maudine (Belote) Cvetan and his son James A. Cvetan Jr. James is survived by his children Treasa Cvetan Howard, Christine Cvetan Tibbitts, and Jacob (Carly)Cvetan. He is survived by seven grandchildren Jennifer Alexander, Christine Jones, Danielle Howard, Aaron Howard, Brittany Keirns, Leah Tibbitts and Tyler Postell. He loved being an uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Jim spent his youth in Elizabeth PA, where he grew to love nature, horses and dogs. He started his adult life In the US Air Force’s Strategic Air Command, a Sargent & Military Police Officer-K9 Handler. During his service he met his life long love known to many as Penny. Jim & Penny loved to host family and friends on their boat at Lake Erie. Jim was a towel waving Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he loved boating and all sports. Jim will be loved eternally by his many friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date near Caledonia, Ohio, where he will be laid to rest with his loving wife and son.
