Jim was all about sharing Jesus to the boys he touched. He showed them that even though we had to be in this world. We didn't have to be of this world. I sewed many royal rangers shirts for him and watched many young men grow as a result of his unending desire to share....
I first met Commander Jim as part of the Royal Rangers, Frontier Camping Fellowship where we reach youth and other men by teaching history through living (camping) in the time period. Jim would represent the early 1800's Voyager's and he was was instrumental in reaching boys and mentoring boys & men for Christ, all the time in whatever he was doing. He was generous to a fault and would go out of his way to help get you whatever you needed. He was a tremendous mentor for myself and for my son and I cherish the many memories I have with him and others around the campfire building each other up and encouraging one another in the Lord.
Got to know Commander Champion well during the Jr camps, he will be sorely missed but in the hands of the Master Ranger. Praying for the
Lord to give you the peace that only he can give during this difficult time.
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Although sad for us we can praise God Jim is dancing with Jesus.. AMEN 🙏🙏. PTL ♥️
