Sweeney, Jacob Alexander's Obituary
Jacob Alexander Sweeney, born November 29, 2000, in Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on November 24, 2025. Jacob touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was loving, loyal, generous, funny, witty, determined, intelligent and handsome. Jacob was the best son and the light of his mom’s life and will remain forever in her heart. He was also a good friend to many and made people feel special.
Jacob enjoyed many things including WWE, UFC, New York Giants, watching sunsets and being by the water, cooking and dining out, gaming, and spending time with friends. His laughter and warmth will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
He is survived by his parents, Wendy Sweeney and Joseph Tibor; his sister, Kyra; nephews, Ansel and Felix; his uncle, Scott Hartmann; his aunt, Joanne and also his aunt Awilda and cousin James; and many more extended family and friends who adored him. Jacob was preceded in death by his Nanny and Pop Pop Sweeney, his Nana Tibor, and his Aunt Debbie.
A visitation will be held on December 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:30 PM at Grace Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family encourages anyone who could share a story or memory of Jacob to do so during the service. After the service, the family welcomes anyone to their home for a small gathering.
Jacob’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him—his warm heartedness, humor, and smile will never be forgotten.
