Mrs. Leachman was a beautiful soul. I was blessed to know her through family gatherings at her CT home and saw her more recently at her grandson/my nephew Kevin Jr's wedding. Mrs. Leachman always greeted you with a smile and warm hug. In her presence, everyone felt seen and welcome! I feel Honored to have known her!
To my brother Kevin, sister in love Donna, Mr. Leachman and the entire extended family, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your Beloved Matriarch. Her family meant everything to her. I pray that her sweet sprit and love engulfs you and brings you a sense of comfort and peace. May her legacy live on through all of you!

Auntie Hyacinth has been a mother to me and my sister Sandra when we lived in England. She was a virtuous woman who was always so caring. In later years, she has welcomed my husband, Les and my daughter, Kesandra into her life extending the same love. Although, we didn’t Florida often she always made our trips there so memorable. She will be missed immensely and know that she is forever loved. RIP Auntie gone but you’ll never be forgotten. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love, Pamela & Kesandra
Hyacinth & I first met when I moved into the neighborhood 11 years ago. I was walking our dog, Sunnee, past her house & she was out watering her flowers. Our friendship "blossomed" from there and I enjoyed many afternoons "visiting" with her in person or on the phone. I loved hearing about her life! She would share photos of her large & beautiful family, I'd hear stories about life in Jamaica, living in England & her career. I would bring her my home made coffee cake, key lime cookies & banana muffins and she'd always say they were delicious. She was an excellent listener too ~ always asking how my husband , Ron, was doing ~ "How's my Ron? " she asked. She'd bring me lovely scented candles at Christmas time and have G bring us Sangster's Jamaica Rum Cream. I am very sad thinking that I will never see her again. Always thoughtful, always kind , always a bright flower ~ that's how I'll remember Hyacinth.
