Holly M Plummer's Obituary
Holly died peacefully at home with her family after a 5 year battle with cancer.
She was born in Alton, Illinois on December 20, 1951, to parents Buddy Mathias Kiel and Eileen “Hazelwonder” Hancock.
On February 3, 1968, she married Eldon Plummer in Alton, Illinois and after Eldon was drafted into the United States Army they spent their honeymoon years on Ft. Lenord Wood, Missouri. Later they relocated to Jerseyville, Illinois where they started a family and promptly had two boys. Holly worked at many places through the years, Farm and Home in Jerseyville and Concorde Trading Company in Hartford before retiring from Hayner Public Library where she worked at the Alton Mall Branch.
Upon retirement her and Eldon headed south and relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida before making their home in Spring Hill, Florida.
Holly was preceded in death by her parents: Buddy Kiel and Eileen Hancock; her in-laws: Harry and Mary Plummer and her son: Mike Plummer.
She is survived by her husband: Eldon Plummer; her son: Kevin Plummer, and grandson Kyle Plummer all from Spring Hill, Florida; her uncle: Eddie Hazelwonder of Calhoun County, Illinois; her brother-in-law: Harry Delbert Plummer of Jerseyville, Illinois, along with many cousins spread across the country.
Holly will be laid to rest at Grace Memorial Garden in Hudson, Florida just a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico.
