Susan Torres
My dearest Helen, I had the privilege of meeting you when you were 98 years old. I moved in across the street on Oak Crest and had four young children to care for alone after the divorce i didn't want. You were so kind and had hospitality that is not found these days so readily. You came to my doe with a brown grocery bag brimming with, when i opened it, the most amazingly large, clean and perfect veggies and a huge chicken...i guess everything for chicken soup! You floored me! I also remember you loving my son, and my now 14 year old Daughter visiting in your living room, and the find memories she has of you. I used to watch you groom your plants in the front yard and was amazed at how you were soooooo strong! You told me the secret to your longevity! I used to think of you being all alone and perspective you taught me...the day you told me how i was all alone, even though i had four children! I watch over your house and have missed you for years. Now your finally with out Father in Heaven and please say hello to my Dad Thomas who padded just last September and was only 70 years old...I'll never forget you my dearest, love, Susan
