Heather Lynn Shepherd's Obituary
Heather Lynn Shepherd (Davidson) age 64, was born on September 1, 1960 in Akron, Ohio. She passed away in her sleep on October 18th 2024.
Heather was born and grew up in Akron, Ohio most of her life. She graduated from Garfield High School. She had a career in customer service for many years but it wasn't until she started at Walmart that she found her true passion and also found her soulmate. Heather was on the Special Olympics swim team for diving and has received many awards. She was very active with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Heather was preceded in death by her soulmate Charlie. She is survived by her parents Janet and Karl Goudy and her beloved best friend Christine Weekly Brooks (Bill Brooks) of Ohio. Heather loved being a mother to her daughter Maurissa Boggess (Cody Gaines). Heather's life was blessed beautifully with her four grandchildren Damien, Tiffany (Mikey), Izabell Rose (Charles Boots), Nicholas (Dominique) and she was even blessed with two great grandchildren Cienna and Zachary.
Heather touched many lives and she was loved by so many. She will truly be missed and the world will be much emptier without her beautiful smile and loving soul. It was her wish that there will be no funeral, however, there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
