Harold R. Stowell's Obituary
Harold R. Stowell, 78, of Spring Hill, FL passed away December 17, 2016. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday noon at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at 11 am. A native of Rochester, MI he has been a long time resident of the area. Harold served his country in the US Army, and his division was moved to Florida to support the Cuban Missile Crisis. He later retired from GM Pontiac Division as an Engine Inspector. He was a passionate fan of the Bucs and the University of Michigan. Harold enjoyed all kinds of music, especially the kind that did not need electricity to make. His interest ranged from Opera to Bluegrass. He also loved reading and crossword puzzles. Memberships include the Retired U.A.W. Club in Hudson and Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Greater Tampa Bay. He was preceded in death by his beloved dog companion, Perry. Survivors include loving wife Marilyn Joy; son, Randal Stowell and his husband William of East Providence, RI; daughter Tracy Lee Wolfe and her husband Randy of Hudson; 2 grandchildren, Marissa and Kelby; 2 great-grandchildren, Sienna and Darien. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Greater Tampa Bay http://flwheatenclub.org/ in memory of Harold.
