Harold Roseman Sr.'s Obituary
Honoring the Life of Harold Roseman
May 18th, 1938 – March 15th, 2026
“A wise and generous support system to all those around him.” As Plant Manager at Cannon Mills, Harold Roseman guided a workplace that touched many families in and around the mill community. He did so with the hardworking, patient, and humble spirit for which he became known.
Born in China Grove, North Carolina, Harold carried those values to UNC Charlotte, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1972. His education set the stage for a career defined by steady leadership and a focus on people.
Harold’s role at Cannon Mills showed what supportive management can look like. Colleagues and neighbors alike remember his compassionate approach and his commitment to fair, reliable work.
Beyond the mill, Harold explored the wider world, visiting forty-nine states and five countries. His love of travel fostered curiosity and inspired friends to look beyond their own horizons.
Family remained his constant center. Together with his spouse Hilda, he created welcoming Christmas breakfasts that brought their children — Eddie, Kim, Kevin, Karla, Kelly and fifteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren around the table in lasting unity.
Harold passed under the care of Sturgill Care Center in Brooksville, Florida, leaving a model of service that endures beyond one place or profession.
His legacy urges each of us to lead with compassion, stay patient in challenge, and offer steady support within our own circles.
