Harold J. Chase Jr.'s Obituary
Harold J. "Hal" Chase, Jr.; a resident of Rolling Green Village since 2002, passed away early Monday, Feb. 12 at the Gulfside Hospice Facility in NPR. He moved from Louisville, Kentucky to Heritage Pines with Judith, his wife of 35+ years, who survives him. Hal held Masters degrees from McKendree University, and his profession was in management with Ford Motor Company in Louisville for 33 years. He was a car aficionado all his life.
Hal loved many HP activities, including golfing with his buddies, billiards, and recently sweet pickles pickleball group. A veteran of the US Navy, he was a member of the HP Veterans Club. He served on the first Rolling Green Village board, and at one time as Chair of the Golfing Handicap Commitee. He especially enjoyed all the golf tournaments and related social activities, in fact, he was involved in the planning of twice yearly golf trips out of town, and planned many of the early golfing dinners out.
In addition to his wife Judith, Hal is loved and deeply missed by his daughters, Deborah Chase (Jeff), and Jennifer (Michael) Hughes, stepson David (Meredith) Birdwhistell, stepdaughter Amie (Tracey) Wade, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Our condolences to the family.
