Gloria S. Habegger's Obituary
Gloria “Sue” Habegger of Hudson Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning June 30, 2020. Sue was born July 7, 1942 in Lima Ohio. Sue was employed at Kroger’s Grocery Store for twenty years.
Sue owned and ran Sue’s (pet) Grooming Salon for 15 years. Sue graduated from Northwestern School of Commerce, now University of Northwestern Ohio and completed Dog Grooming School in Toledo Ohio.
Survived by Husband Ronald Habegger married 58 years, sons Jeffrey (Cindi) Habegger and Rick Habegger; Grandchildren Rick, Steven, Clayton, Kimberly, Rachel; Great Grandchildren Quinn, Jade and Virginia. Proceeded in death by parents Robert and Helen Van Buskirk, brothers Jay and Chuck, and sister Judy. Survived by brothers Edwin, Ted and Jan. Sue was married to Ronald Habegger on January 20, 1962 and moved from Bluffton, Ohio to Port Clinton Ohio where she and her husband Ron lived for 39 years before retiring to Hudson Florida in 2004.
Sue was a fiercely devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sue was a loving and devoted care giver for disabled husband Ron for 51 years. Sue dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed the many dear friends she made at Heritage Pines and cherished her long dear friends in Ohio. Sue had a natural love and care for pets that extended beyond her Dog Grooming business and into retirement where she spent many days caring for her pets as well as the pets of many others.
A Visitation will be held at 12noon until 1pm on Monday July 6th, 2020 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Hudson, FL 34667.
