Glen Fler's Obituary
FLER, Glen 91, of Hudson, Fl. passed away July 12, 2011 while at home under the care of Hospice and his loving daughter Nancy. A native of Pontiac, Mi. he has been a long time resident of the area coming from Detroit, Mi. Mr. Fler Served his country during W.W. II in the U.S. Army. While serving in the European theater he was awarded 2 Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, and a Silver Star for his actions in combat. He later became the Supervisor of Elevator Inspection for the city of Detroit where he later retired from. Memberships include the V.F.W. and he was a Mason. Mr. Fler was preceded in death by his loving wife Kathryn of 63 years. He is survived by his 2 daughters Nancy Fler of Hudson, Fl. and Linda Lemanski of St. Clair Shores, Mi. 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until 3:00 PM and 5:00 until 7:00 PM Funeral Services will take place on Monday 11:00 AM at Grace Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
