Genevieve Frances Weinand's Obituary
Genevieve Frances Weinand, age 84, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. She was the beloved widow of Robert A. Weinand, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage.
Born on December 8, 1940, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Genevieve was the daughter of the late James and Connie Lacourt. A devoted homemaker for most of her life, she found great joy in caring for her children and creating a warm, loving home.
In her later years, Genevieve enjoyed quiet moments watching television, particularly NCIS, murder mysteries, and true crime shows. She was also an avid reader of thrillers and mystery novels.
Genevieve will be remembered as a kind and caring woman—always willing to help others, offering heartfelt advice, and cherishing time spent with her family. She truly would give the shirt off her back to someone in need.
She is survived by her sons, Michael and Dominic; her daughters, Denise and Linda; and her grandson, Jame Castle. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Dominic, and her son Tom.
