Frederick A. “Freddie” Berenger, 67, of Port Richey, Fl. passed away July 2, 2015 at home while under the care of his loving family. A native of Brooklyn, NY he came to the area in 2006 after He retired from the New York Transit Authority. Freddie was of the Lutheran Faith and enjoyed fishing and the many Joyful Celebrations with his family and friends. A Celebration of His Life will Be held Monday July 6, 2015 6:00PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, the family will receive friends starting at 4:00 PM. He was preceded in death by his siblings Charles, Eddie, Harry, Richie, Dolores and Marie. Survivors include his Sweetheart of 21 years, Susan Clinton of Port Richey, Fl.; daughter, Lori Beth Rivera and husband Orlando of New Port Richey, Fl.; step-son, Jim Clinton of Orlando, Fl.; step-daughter, Kimberly Zaino of Hudson, Fl.; brother, Kenneth Berenger and wife Barbara of Franklin Square, NY; 2 sisters, Dorothy Koulis and husband Danny of Brooklyn, NY and Karen Berenger of Brooklyn, NY; 2 sisters in-law, Marge Berenger of Albany, NY and Diane Berenger of Long Island, NY; 10 grandchildren, Alyssa, Olivia, Tavian, Jamie Rose, Nicky, Alex, Thomas, Ryan, Maddie and Kaley.
