Frances Calabro's Obituary
It is with deep regret that the family of Frances Calabro, 85, of New Port Richey, Florida, announces her passing.
Frances was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Lithuanian immigrants who instilled in her the value of hard work, and its connection to a life well-lived.
Frances married her loving husband, Edward, in 1953, and quickly embraced her role as wife. Despite having medical issues that were predicted to have prevented her from experiencing motherhood, Frances defied the odds and subsequently delivered four healthy children. Now grown, Leslie, Jeffrey, Edward, and Christian each have fond memories of their beloved mother. In addition to her culinary talents resulting in many fine meals shared among them, Frances enjoyed a good book and a challenging puzzle. Quick with a laugh and generous with a sweet smile, Frances’ kindness will live on in the hearts and minds of her family, friends, and all who knew her.
In addition to her husband Edward, and their four children, Frances is also survived by her grandchildren: Jesse, Lane, Nick, Stephanie, Joseph, Anne Marie and Catherine.
