Ervin Edward Slater's Obituary
Ervin Edward Slater, 80, of Spring Hill, FL passed away November 5, 2017 at home while the care of Hospice and his loving family. A native of Lincoln, MI. Ervin served in the U.S, Navy during Korea and Vietnam. He retired as a Sheet Metal Fabricator in the HVAC industry. Mr. Slater was Baptist by faith and enjoyed doing home improvement projects and was always helpful to others. He was preceded in death by his son, Tim Slater and step-son, Travis Hvass. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Sue; 2 daughters, Cheryl McIntyre and Brenda Slater; step-son, Troy Hvass; brother, Allen Slater; 2 sisters, Betty Elsenheimer and Carolyn Wiles; 5 grandchildren, Derrick, Melanie, Katie, Jon and Raymond; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Lauren, Chelsie, and Samantha. Cremation service held under the direction of Grace Memorial.
