Eric Michael Hanson's Obituary
Eric Michael Hanson, age 15, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away far too soon. Leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light. A freshman at Central High School, Eric was a radiant soul whose presence brightened the lives of everyone he met – family, nurses, teachers, and countless others fortunate enough to know him.
Eric had a heart of gold, and his kindness, joy and gentle spirit touched all who crossed his path. He had a special love for monkeys and movies, Cars, King Julian, Curious George and Toy Story, passions that reflected his playful nature and vibrant imagination. His final act of generosity was the gift of life through organ donation, a selfless gesture that will come to impact others in profound ways.
Eric is survived by his loving parents, Dan and Laura Hanson-Elliott (Mama Gigi & Papa); his siblings: Calissa Davis, Ryder David, and Emma Schultz; family, aunts and uncles: Greg Cantrell Jr. (Casey), Nathan Hanson, Jennifer Hanson, Brandon Elliott (June), Ryan Davis (Dee Dee), Mallory Gay (Michael), Hillary Padron (Dan), and Landon Davis; and his grandparents, Dave Hanson Jr. (Chris) and Pastor Greg and Billie Jo Davis (Pepaw and Gramma) as well as several cousins and a devoted team of nurses, teachers and aides who cared for him and loved him deeply.
Eric was predeceased by his mother, Tiffany Davis.
Though his time with us was brief, Eric’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His smile, his laughter, and his boundless love will never be forgotten.
