Elsie Maria Lozada's Obituary
Elsie Maria Lozada, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Spring Hill, Florida, on July 17, 2025. She was born in 1933 in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, to the late Francisco Ortiz and Eloisa Colón.
Elsie was the heart of her family—a devoted homemaker whose love and care made every day brighter. She had a remarkable ability to make the work of motherhood and home life seem effortless, and she did it all with grace and warmth. Her deep love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her legacy of kindness and strength will live on in those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Francisco, Edward, and Edwin; her daughter, Lourdes; her sisters, Adminda and Alicia; eight cherished grandchildren; and three adored great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Grace Memorial Gardens Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 12:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. Elsie will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Francisco Lozada, in Grace Memorial Gardens.
Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
