It was my Pleasure and Honor to have been Edythe’s Caregiver for the past 5 1/2 years. Since the day she had made Forest Oaks her home, we created a Special Bond. Edythe was more like Family to me, not just “another Resident.” I will always treasure our daily talks and the special stories she would tell me of her son Steven, her daughter in law Diane and her daughter Susie. She loved them so much, and it truly showed in the stories she told about them! We would sit in her room, laughing, uncontrollably at times! I will remember all of this - her Loving & Angelic Spirit will be in my heart forever.... RIP, Sweet Angel 💕
I would also like to add a special memory about Edythe’s daughter in law, Diane. Edythe spoke very highly of Diane and appreciated her so much. Whether it was just Diane & Steve’s weekly visits, or all of the “goodies” that Diane baked for her, Edythe had nothing but nice things to say about Diane! Edythe loved - and she loved with her whole heart! I will always treasure her warm heart and the Love she had for her Family and Friends!
