Edward Joseph Piunno's Obituary
Edward Joseph Piunno passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family and best bud and friend Dave Lemieux.
Edward was the beloved husband of Mary Jo (Hedden); devoted father of PJ Piunno and Eddie Piunno; loving stepfather of Melissa Fleming (Hedden); and cherished father-in-law to Billi Jo Piunno (Humphries), Charity Piunno (Landesman), and Patrick Fleming. He was a proud grandfather to Andrew Piunno, Karissa Piunno, Amanda Piunno, Anthony Piunno, Adam Piunno, Katelyn Fleming and Corinne Fleming.
He is also survived by his siblings Gina Piunno, Joyce Martaus, Carl Piunno, Michael Piunno, and Frank Piunno.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Josephine Piunno, and his sister, Linda Salvador.
Eddie proudly served his country in the United States Navy and worked for many years in construction before retiring. He spent the last 13 years enjoying retirement in Florida, where he loved fishing and especially cherished visits from his family and friends from up north.
He will always be remembered for cooking his famous Sunday sauce and gathering everyone around the table for macaroni on Sundays, a tradition filled with love, laughter, and family.
Eddie will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
