Duane Michael Pfeifer's Obituary
Duane Michael Pfeifer, age 71 of Weeki Wachee, Florida passed away on Saturday August 31, 2024, at the H. Lee Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. He was born in Little Falls, Minnesota to Robert and Jeraldine (Mecikalski) Pfeifer. He came to this area in 2019 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before retirement he worked as a mechanic for, WE Energies in Milwaukee. He was a Catholic and a member of the Milwaukee Jaycees, the Wisconsin Milkman's Corp and help for many years with a handicapped accessible haunted house in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, building sets and running the event with the proceeds going to the Easterseals.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary, six children Michelle (Mark) Gigl, Leanne (Jack) Thompson, Joe (Megan) Derdziak, Danielle (David) Rageth, Jackie Shaffer, Michael (Christina) Pfeifer, siblings Robert (Sandy) Pfeifer, Dianne Pliska, James (Meredyth) Pfeifer, fifteen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Duane's Life will be held on Sunday September 22, 2024, from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm at Holler Park 5151 South 6th St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53221.
Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home have been entrusted with his care.
