Dorothy Irene Newell's Obituary
Dorothy Irene Newell, 90, of Weeki Wachee, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, July 30th, 2018. Dorothy was born in Albany, NY to Albert and Regina Perry on February 6th, 1928. She graduated from Albany High School and Ellis Hospital School of Nursing. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard in 2001. Survivors include her brother David (Lynne) Perry of Upper Saranac Lake, NY; 5 childen: Linda (Paul) Iovinelli of Spring Hill, FL, Timothy (Kathleen) Newell of Ballston Lake, NY, William (Cheryl) Newell of Torrington, CT, James (Kathryn) Newell of Middle Grove, NY, Todd (Suzanne) Newell of Ocala, FL; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer Newell of Scotia, NY, Christopher(Amie) Newell of Schenectady, NY, Eric (Laura) Newell of Natick, MA, Sarah (Bradley) Rodgers of Ballston Spa, NY, Elizabeth (Nathaniel) Salch of Ocala, FL, Joshua (Meghan) Newell of San Jose, CA, Mark (Jordan Vaughn-Newell) Newell of Tallahassee, FL, Aaron (Sarah) Newell of Bryan, TX, Hannah (Justin) Stirzaker of Marietta, GA, Noah Newell of Middle Grove, NY; 7 great grandchildren: Collin, Avery, Lily, William, Aiden, Laili and Selah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11am at Nativity Lutheran Church, 6363 Commercial Way, Weeki Wachee, FL.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nativity Lutheran Church.
