Dorothy Galloway's Obituary
Dorothy Galloway, 88, of Hudson, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in her home with people that loved her.
She was born April 9, 1937, in Liverpool, England the daughter of the late James and Lucy Greer. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked many years as a salesclerk in cosmetics. Dorothy loved to spend time with her family, dancing and going to Broadway shows. She was of strong catholic faith and loved her church.
In addition to the parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers: Noel Greer, Freddie Greer, James Greer Jr, Ronnie Greer, and Alan Greer and her sister: Irene Dennis.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 64 years: Donald Galloway Sr; her sons: Donald Galloway Jr and David (Laura) Galloway; her daughter: Dawn (Richard) Banten; and her grandchildren: Timothy Galloway, Brittany Galloway Hypes, Brianna Banten, Ricky Banten and Lilly Banten.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 US Hwy 19 North, Hudson, FL 34667. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church 1107 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL 34606.
