Donna Alberta Snipes' Obituary
Donna Alberta Snipes, 66, of Spring Hill, FL passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2015 surrounded by her family and her dog, Snoopy. Donna was born in Syracuse, New York to Donald and Elizabeth Zimmers on May 19th, 1948. She was passionate about helping others and volunteered weekly with Project Hope at her church, Lakeview Baptist, of which she was a member. Donna enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spent much of her time as a substitute teacher. She quickly became a mother to all she met and didn’t let you leave without a hug. She was a great mother, grandmother and instilled the values of family in the lives of everyone she touched. Donna believed in the power of love, forgiveness and the infinite words of our savior Jesus Christ.
Her survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Louise & Holger Maier, sons, Maurice E. DeLong, Jr., Earl E. DeLong and Christopher L. Snipes, Jr., one sister and one brother, several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher L. Snipes, Sr., parents, sister and brother.
Memorial services will be held on April 18th, 2015 at noon:
