Donna Marie Shellenberger's Obituary
Donna Marie (Fry) Shellenberger, 81, of Hudson, Florida passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at her residence.
She was born February 22, 1942 in York, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late W. Benson Fry, Sr and Marie Louise Guyer Fry. When she retired, Donna was employed at the Round The Clock Diner located on Arsenal Road, Route 30, in York, Pennsylvania. Donna started at the Howard Johnsons Restaurant in 1963, located at the same location. The restaurant and Motor Lodge was bought out by Marriott in 1985, and Round The Clock Diner took over in 1993. Donna stayed throughout the transitions and continued to serve all her same customers. She had loyal regular customers dining every day to enjoy her excellent service.
Donna moved to Florida in 2021 and developed numerous good friends in the local Hudson Florida area. She was a member of 4208 Bolton Eagles, Moose Lodge 1747, both in Hudson, Florida and she was a lifetime member at the West York Veterans of Foreign Wars and Liberty Club in York, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Donald B. Shellenberger and her brother: W. Benson Fry, Jr.
Survivors include her son: David (Krista) Shellenberger; her brothers: Barry (Nancy) Fry and Timothy (Carol) Fry; her sisters: Bonnie (Steven) Kessler, Patty (Terry) Newcomer and Christine (Randy) Fogle; and her 2 loving grandchildren: Brigham Shellenberger and Madison Shellenberger.
Arrangements are in the care of Grace Memorial Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida.
