Donald Wilson's Obituary
Donald E. Wilson, 83, of Hudson, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 15th, 2020. Donald was born in Seal Harbor, Maine to Eugene and Sara Wilson on November 10th, 1936. Raised In Manchester Connecticut, Donald owned his own gas station, was a Firefighter for the Manchester Fire department, served in the U. S. Army Reserves and a member of the Washington Social Club. His friends all knew him as “Shorty Wilson” He has been a resident of Florida since 1978. Where He was self-employed owner-operator Truck driver/Mechanic . A longtime member with the Fraternal order of the Eagles, The Wing Nuts and a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel. He was always a charmer and quick witted, with a sparkle in his eye and his devilish grin, a good and loyal friend, father, and loving husband. He was of the Protestant Faith. Donald was predeceased by his sister, Jane Smith, and grandson Brian Wilson Jr. Survivors include his loving wife, Lorraine Wilson, daughter, Denise Stevens, husband Jerry sons, Brian Wilson, wife Maria and Steven Wilson, wife Karen, 7 adult grandchildren, Matthew, Theresa, Meaghan, Jessica, Kristen, Trisha, Carol Ann, and 9 great grandchildren, Jacob, Louie, Alex, Joey, Cody, Cameron, Jeremiah, Caleb, Joshua . His nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 1st, 2020 at 3:00PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Hudson, Fl.
The family, will share and celebrate Donald’s life, and all that he meant to each of us, with a Family and Friends Gathering Reception after the Memorial Services at the Fraternal order of the Eagles at 8517 Bolton Ave. Hudson, FL,34667, (727)868-5754
