Dolores M. Rosen, age 90, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away peacefully while under the compassionate care of the dedicated staff at Brooksville Healthcare Center. Her passing marks the end of a long and meaningful life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
Dolores was born in Brooklyn, New York, a vibrant borough of New York City, to her beloved parents, the late Thomas and Mary (Rinchusso) Tanella. She grew up surrounded by the rich culture and close-knit community of Brooklyn, which helped shape the strong, caring, and resilient woman she would become.
Throughout her life, Dolores was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and generous heart. Her legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Lawerance Rosen Sr., her children, Dawn Rhame (Joseph) and Lawerance Rosen (Pamela); and her granddaughter, Gina Rosen.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to The American Heart Association.
At this time, arrangements for a memorial service to honor and celebrate Dolores’s life are currently being planned. Details regarding the date, time, and location of the service will be shared with family and friends as soon as they are finalized.
