Diamanda Provenza's Obituary
Diamanda “Di” Provenza, age 95, of Bayonet Point, Florida passed away July 1, 2023 in Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was born in Bronx, New York on April 24, 1928.
Daughter of the late Carmella (Labetti) D’Addezio and Anthony D’Addezio and beloved sister of the late Anna Natalizio and the late Mary D’Addezio.
Beloved wife of the late Charles S. Provenza of 65 years who predeceased Diamanda on June 6, 2022. Loving mother of Lani (Terence) McElgun, Laura D’Arcy, Charles (Cindy) Provenza, and Michael (Kim) Provenza. Grandmother of Michael (Jackie) Rehak, Sean McElgun, Christina (Mikel Wells) D’Arcy, Patrick D’Arcy, Alex Provenza, the late Marissa Provenza, the late Nicholas Provenza, Nichole Provenza, Nicholas Provenza. Great-grandmother of Madeline Rehak and Jordan Rehak.
During her lifetime, Diamanda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved to cook, travel, attend garage sales, play cards/mahjong, and found great pleasure in giving gifts to everyone. She was always described as kind-hearted, thoughtful, friendly and sweet to others.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 21, 2023 at St Michael The Archangel Catholic Church, 8014 State Road 52, Hudson, Florida 34667. Burial will follow at 2:30 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue Hudson, Florida 33513.
