Delia L. Chambers' Obituary
Delia L. Chambers, 76, passed away on January 8, 2026 at Gardens of Westbrooke in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Born on May 24, 1949 in Manhattan, New York, she was the daughter of the late Jaime Caro and Eleuteria Caro (née Martinez). She spent most of her life in New York before relocating to Wesley Chapel, Florida in 2011 to be closer to her family and grandchildren.
Delia dedicated many years to her professional career, holding various roles as a legal aide, administrative assistant, and secretary—work she truly enjoyed. She began her career in New York and continued after moving to Florida, where she remained active in her profession until her retirement.
In her free time, Delia found joy in crafts, sewing, and crocheting. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her family and took great pride in caring for and doting on her grandchildren. Her love for family was evident in everything she did.
Delia will be lovingly remembered for her beautiful smile, kind and generous spirit, and servant’s heart. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and was a loyal and caring friend to many.
She is survived by her sons: Edwin Soto (Caren), Matthew Chambers (Jessica), and Daniel Chambers (Alexis); her seven grandchildren: Alexander Soto, Nolan Soto, Ella Soto, Ava Soto, Mason Chambers, Dash Chambers, and Willow Chambers; her brother, Jose Caro (Eva); her nephews, Jose Caro, Jonathan Caro and Jesse Caro.
Delia’s legacy of love, devotion, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
