Debbie J. Clendenning (Bennett, Clouse) of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1957, in Martinsville, Indiana, to Merrill Bennett and Mary Kathleen Bennett (Barnett).
A graduate of Martinsville High School, Class of 1975, Debbie dedicated her career to the legal field. She worked as a legal secretary at the Martinsville Courthouse before continuing her career with Coffin and Coffin Law Firm in Martinsville, Indiana.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Clouse, and daughter-in-law, Renee; grandchildren Olivia Clouse and Jacob Clouse; her mother, Mary Kathleen Bennett; sisters Cindy (Darrell; deceased) Collier and Dana (Bruce) Swafford; and brother Patrick (Genesa) Bennett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Roger A. Clendenning Jr.; her father, Merrill Bennett; and her sister Tawnya.
Cremation was chosen, with arrangements handled by Grace Memorial Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
