David "Dave" Albert De Coster's Obituary
David “Dave” Albert De Coster, 72, of St. Petersburg, Fl and recently moved to Brooksville, Florida passed away at 7:10 pm Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Bravera Health in Brooksville, Florida.
Born September 18, 1950 in Defiance, Ohio the son of the late Albert De Coster and Elaine Fromwiller De Coster. Dave graduated high school in 1967 in Defiance, Ohio. He married Linda Glick in 1970 in Defiance, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1975. He was the proprietor of his own business for many years and thru his life he also worked a boat captain and a band manager. Dave had a great outgoing personality, he touched everyone he knew and could tell jokes for hours. He was great at playing the drums and playing basketball. He played guard on a Basketball Team of god. Dave also loved living in St. Petersburg, going to Key West, playing baseball, playing music and His favorite past time thing to do is to go saltwater fishing. In the early 70’s he did a walk on try out for the Cincinnati Red Baseball Team. Due to prior injury it did not work out.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother: Earl De Coster.
Dave is survived by his two sons: Chad (Victoria) and Cary (Mira); his sisters: Sharon Richard, Linda Miller and Cindy Almond and his five grandchildren: Lily, Eloisa, Jason, Serenity, and Gabriella.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 pm Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson, Florida. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 Thursday at Grace Memorial Funeral Home.
Arrangements are in the care of Grace Memorial Funeral Home in Hudson.
