Zimmerman, Darold Lee's Obituary
Darold Lee Zimmerman Jr, 53, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024.
Darold was born in Washington, Pennsylvania on August 3, 1971 to Janice (Hott) Zimmerman and the late Darold L. Zimmerman Sr. He graduated from Chartiers Houston High School in 1989 and Pittsburgh Culinary Arts School in 1990, both in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He was an executive chef at several country clubs and Lucky Dill in Florida. He also did large catering jobs.
He was Baptist and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Hudson, Florida. Darold served as Head Deacon, sang in the choir, and cooked meals at the church.
He will be remembered for being quick witted and intelligent.
Darold is survived by his mother, Janice Zimmerman; his aunt, Jill Leach; his second cousins, Margaret Bates and Don Bates; and many dear friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Hudson, 13343 Fivay Road, Hudson, Florida 34667.
Interment will be at a later date back in Pennsylvania.
