Daniel M. Lane, age 80, of Holiday, Florida, passed away on July 24, 2025.
Born in Anderson, Indiana to Arthur and Maethol Lane, Daniel lived a life marked by faith, family, and service.
A proud veteran, Daniel served in the United States Army.
On July 24, 1981, he married the love of his life, Ann Lane, in Spring Hill, Florida. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their family and community.
Daniel was a dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He never met a stranger and was known for his warm heart and generous spirit. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he served as co-pastor of the Gospel Tabernacle in Holiday, Florida, where he touched many lives with his guidance and compassion.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Maethol Lane; his brothers: William Lane, Donald Lane, Paul Lane, and AJ Lane; his sister, Barbara Ann; and his beloved son, Jason Lane.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Ann Lane and their nine children: Doug & Irene Lane of Spring Hill, FL; Danny & Annette Lane of Spring Hill, FL; Stoney & Nelly Lane of Malvern, AR; Ronda & Doug Cooper of Crestview, FL; Roger & Tonya Gallahan of Spring Hill, FL; Robert & Dana Gallahan of Apollo Beach, FL; Randy & Laura Gallahan of Weeki Wachee, FL; Rodney & Kaycee of Riverview, FL; and Melonie & Randy James of Kokomo, IN. He also leaves behind a legacy of love through his 33 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
His life was a testament to faith, family, and kindness. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
