Damion Joseph Biernat's Obituary
Damion Joseph Biernat
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of the kid who was 6’1” with a laser rocket arm and a heart of a lion, better known to those who knew him as Damion Biernat. He lit up the room everywhere he went and could talk to anyone. Damion was born June 5, 1979, in Naples, FL to Carol (Burke) and Joseph Biernat.
Damion was a true fan of the Detroit Lions and U of M football. He went to Grand Valley University and spent his career in office installations for over twenty-five years as COO and then owned his own business.
Damion is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Biernat; grandparents, Jos & Thelma Biernat and Gilbert & Donna Burke; and several uncles.
He is survived by his sons, Talan and Tanner Biernat; his beloved significant other, Niki Trosper; Niki’s son, Jason; loving mother, Carol Crocker, his brother, Shawn Biernat (Sonya Pedraza); nieces, Angelia Biernat and Hailey McFall; in-laws, Bruce and Cheryl Campbell; brother-in-law, Ryan Campbell (Danielle); several uncles & aunts; step grandmother, Pam Burke (Darian); and many cousins who will all cherish his memory and continue his legacy.
A celebration of life will take place sometime in June.
In honor of Damion’s memory and his commitment to his children, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to his sons, Talan and Tanner Biernat at Venmo@Talan-TannerBiernat (4940) phone verification.
May Damion’s beautiful smile carry us on and cherish his memory until we meet again.
