Clara V Slack's Obituary
Clara V Slack, 92, of New Port Richey passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at
Marliere Care Center in New Port Richey, Florida.
A native of Raritan, New Jersey she was born April 8, 1930 the daughter of the late
John Germuska and Clara Barbara Makranci Germuska.
Clare was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Clare Palmateer and is survived by
her husband Bruce M. Slack; her daughters: Sherry Milliken, Cathy Rohling and
Mary Lou Sussmeier, her son, Bruce M. Slack Jr, twelve grandchildren: David
Milliken, Leah Roofner, Kara Bartsch, Joshua Slack, Timothy Slack, AnnaLisa Ortiz,
Gregory Simerson, Peter Rohling, Sophia Rohling, Thomas Rohling, Cole Sussmeier
and Kyle Sussmeier: eight great grandchildren: Franklin Milliken, Mikayla Roofner,
Logan Roofner, Kiley Bush, Blake Slack, Alayna Slack, Allie Slack, and Hailie Slack.
Clare was an avid gardener and lover of roses and orchids. She and Bruce spent
many happy years traveling around the US and had the opportunity to visit Europe
a few times. She was a devoted mother and grandmother dedicated to
supporting her family and proud of their accomplishments. She is loved so much
and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at Grace Memorial
Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida with burial to follow in Grace Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
