Charlotte M Bryson's Obituary
Charlotte M. Bryson, a devoted woman of faith, age 97, from Hudson, Florida, passed away on June 3, 2025, just two months shy of her 98th birthday. She was born August 3rd, 1927, to Albert and Kathryn (Olgaiti) Malone and grew up in Riverside Park, NJ where she graduated from Palmyra High School.
Charlotte wed her beloved Edward R. Bryson from Delair, NJ a frogman/UDT in World War II for the United States Navy, on April 12, 1946. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Edward (Dottie) Bryson, Charlene Bryson, and Keith (Maria) Bryson. She took great pride in her four grandchildren, Priscilla Bryson and fiancé Tom Fedak, Anthony (Anna) Bryson, Nicole Bryson and fiancé Aaron Seidelmann, and Joey Bryson, as well as her two great grandchildren, Luca, and Francesca Bryson, with another great grandchild on the way.
Charlotte exceeded the expectations of a “Mother.” After the death of her husband Edward Bryson in 1980, Charlotte embraced the responsibilities of both mother and father. She ensured her family was taken care of and felt loved unconditionally. She re-entered the workforce at Shiseido Cosmetics and Skin Care, where she achieved recognition as the leading salesperson for many years. Additionally, she dedicated her time to volunteering at the voting polls for numerous years.
Charlotte had a remarkable ability to carry herself with elegance and composure, not to mention her impeccable wardrobe. She was also a very caring woman for those she loved and in need, always donating money to special foundations far and wide as well as her church.
In addition to cherishing time with her family, Charlotte enjoyed various hobbies, including gardening, and solving crossword puzzles; there was not a puzzle she couldn't conquer. She also loved reading, watching her favorite shows and classic films, listening to Frank Sinatra, and cooking. Charlotte was especially known for her delicious pumpkin pie and stuffed shells, which she made every holiday season until she was 94 years old.
As the years went by, Charlotte remained as beautiful as ever, radiating grace and poise, and her mind stayed sharp until her final days. She engaged with current events, shared anecdotes from her childhood, and recounted countless stories and experiences from her life spanning over 97 years.
Charlotte touched the lives of everyone she encountered and was cherished by many. She lived a long, fulfilling life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Now, she resides in Heaven with God and her loved ones. Though Charlotte is no longer with us on earth, she will forever remain in our thoughts and hearts.
Before her passing, she was preceded by her husband, Edward R. Bryson, her daughter Charlene R. Bryson, her parents Albert and Kathryn Malone, her sister Irma (Edmund) Kolwicz, and her brother Albert (Roseann) Malone. She is survived by her sister Dolores (Jack) Cannuli, her sister-in-law Rosann Malone, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
