Charlotte R. Arvanites' Obituary
Charlotte R. Arvanites, 89, of Spring Hill, FL passed away peacefully at home on January 12, 2019, while under the care of her loving family. A native of Elizabeth, NJ Charlotte came to the area in 1985 from Clark, NJ with her husband James, after retiring from Redfield, Blonsky, CPA. Charlotte was a longtime active member of Aglow International, TOPS and New Beginnings Life Center in Spring Hill, FL. Charlotte had a flare for design that was evident throughout her home and wardrobe. She was an exceptional seamstress, able to design her own clothes. Charlotte loved to travel and throughout her life visited many countries, including China and the Middle East. Although proud of her Irish-Italian roots, Charlotte embraced her husband’s Greek heritage fully. Upon hearing the bouzouki music, she would be the first to hit the dance floor. Charlotte will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, James and granddaughter Leah Dorio. Survivors include daughter Cindy Dorio and husband Ralph, daughter Adrienne Setzer, and daughter Donna Lowell and husband Victor; grandsons Eric, Reid, Zachary, and Evan; and great-granddaughter, Raven. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 21st 11:00 AM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home in Hudson, FL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
