Charles "Chuck" Mungovan Sr.'s Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Mungovan Sr. of Hudson, FL 82, passed away on March 1st, 2021. Charles was born in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Honor (Murray) Mungovan on June 1st, 1938. Following the tragic death of his parents, Charles went to live with his Uncle James & Helen Murray and their two children.
Among his list of accomplishments his greatest were being the beloved husband of the late Annlee Mungovan (Reisa) for 52 years; a loving father of Robert(Marie) Rafter, Charles(Olene) Mungovan and James(Jane) Mungovan, proceeded by child, Roberta Rafter; a devoted grandfather to Honor Mungovan, Megan Newton, Chad Urbanek, Cody Frisco, Trevor Mungovan and Rachel Mungovan; a cherished great-grandfather of Alyssa and Mia Cook and a dear brother of Bill(the late Elise) Mungovan, Bob Mungovan, Jim(Bonnie) Mungovan, Dan (Mary Joan) Murray, and Mary Therese(the late Michael) Felish, proceeded by siblings, Joe (the late Joan Marie) Mungovan and Dan (the late Mary Kay) Mungovan.
Charles studied at DePaul University and later retired as a traffic manager from Electric Supply, Inc.
He was a devoted Catholic by faith and an avid member of St. James Apostle Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus.

Charles’ viewing will be at Grace Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 12th at 6:00PM-8:00PM. A Funeral Mass at St. James Apostle Catholic Church, 8400 Monarch Drive, Port Richey, FL 34668 on Saturday, March 13th, at 11:00AM, burial following service.
