Carolyn Renea (Middleton) Brown (57), born March 19, 1968, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Tampa, Fl. She was born in Port Huron, MI, but made her final home in Brooksville, FL.
Carol lived life to the fullest, facing heart complications with remarkable courage and determination. She never allowed challenges to define her—instead, she chose joy and celebration. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carol’s love was constant and deeply felt.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Brown; her loving mother, Pamela Nitz; her sister, Barbara Procunier; her son, Roy Middleton (Tiffany Middleton); and her daughter, Brooke Shaw (Dustin Shaw). Carol was a proud grandmother to Jazmine, Destiny, Kyler, Roy Jr., Paisley Middleton, Zayne, Ryker, and Cyrus Shaw, and a joyful great-grandmother to Layla Magner. Each of them carries forward her spirit, strength, and boundless love.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Bill Middleton, whom she now joins in eternal peace.
Carolyn Renea Brown will be remembered as a fighter, a nurturer, and a woman who embraced life with open arms and an open heart. Her memory will be cherished always.
