Lakin, Carol Ann's Obituary
Carol Ann Lakin, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at her residence in Spring Hill, Florida. She was the widow of Philip Lakin Sr.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Hillary James Tobin and Mary Agnes Tobin (nee Mahoney).
She was known for her contagious smile, loving demeanor, and positive outlook on life.
An avid reader, she explored countless worlds through the pages of her favorite books, her imagination soaring with every story. She was also an enthusiastic traveler- Carol had a passion for exploring new places, especially on cruises. What she cherished most though was spending time with her family, creating joyful memories.
Carol is survived by her son, Philip Lakin Jr (Alison Lakin); her daughter, Shirley Cameron; her grandson, Philip Lakin III (Jennifer Estrada-Lakin); her great-granddaughter, Luna Eliana Lakin; and her brother, Gary Tobin (Nancy Tobin). She is predeceased by both of her parents, her husband, and her sister, Theresa Lakin.
In accordance with her family's wishes, a private service will be held to honor her life. As we reflect on the peaceful moments and simple joys that defined her journey, may we find comfort in the lasting imprint of her spirit on our hearts.
