Carmen Moro
Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Carmen Moro, age 87, of Hudson, FL, passed into God’s hands from natural causes July 8th 2016. She is survived by her 10 children: Carmen, Amalia, Myriam, Iris, Luis, Roberto, Miguel, Marisol, Zoraida, and Francisco. Ms. Moro was grandmother 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was a wonderful example of faith, love, and dedication.
She was born January 29, 1929 in Isabela, Puerto Rico. In the early 70’s, she arrived in New York with a hope that her children would pursue the American dream.
Although her kids were being raised in America, she insured that they never forget family values and their Puerto Rican heritage. The most important things in Ms. Moro’s life were family, love and respect and never giving up on faith.
A Visitation will be held at 5pm until 8pm on Monday July 11th, 2016 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Hudson. A Prayer Service will be held at 10AM on Tuesday July 12th, 2016 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, (727)863-5471.
