Carlos Julio Patarroyo, died peacefully in the arms of his loving wife and daughter on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was the devoted son to Ana Delina Jimenez and Carlos Hernando Garzón.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, yet his love of life, kindness, loyalty, and generosity have left an indelible mark on each of their lives. Carlos is survived by his beloved wife, Elsa, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. He leaves behind his children - Carlos, Sandra, Leslie, and Ivonne, as well as his treasured grandchildren - Skyler, Hunter, Savannah ("My one and only"), and Juan David. Carlos is predeceased by his dear sister, Margoth, and is lovingly remembered by his sister, Esperanza, along with her children - Anita, Marlon and Javier - whom he cherished as a devoted uncle.
Early in his life, he balanced multiple jobs until an opportunity arose to join General Motors in Tarrytown, NY. Through his disciplined work ethic and charismatic personality, he steadily advanced, earning the role of supervisor. He later retired from the General Motors plant in Rochester, NY, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and excellence.
